Guide

· The reservation might be canceled if deposit is not payed within 24 hours after reservation.
· Check in time is after 4pm, check out time is 10am on the last day of stay.
· If the number of people exceeds the capacity of the room, 10,000 won is charged.
· Children under 4 years old are exceptional from extra charge.
· Please call Village Headman(82-10-2502-2590) if you want to make a reservation for a group with more than 20 people or want to book the whole Artist Town.
· Please keep the children quiet for other guests.
· Any events after midnight will be charged 200,000 won per hour.
· When the deposit is payed, the sign “waiting” will be changed into “complete” for your room in Reservation section, within 24 hours.
· Deposit: Paying 50% for the whole stay is required.
· Guests will be found responsible for any damage of the facility.
· Minors without their guardians are not able to stay. They can be rejected on the very day at Artist Town.
· There might be a shortage of rooms on Fridays and a day before holiday, so we recommend you to book the room in advance.
· The application for entering the Town must be completed online.
· Since Jirye Artist Town is 360-year-old historic house, no dogs are allowed to enter the town, please be informed.
· For taking a walk safely on the trails, we lend you boots. (For free)
· Our Village Headman likes to talk with guests, explain things and give any kind of information. Please feel free to contact him.

· Cancellation 7 days before the reserved date : 100% Refund
· Cancellation 3-6 days before the reserved date : 90% Refund
· Cancellation 2 days before the reserved date : 80% Refund
· Cancellation 1 days before the reserved date : 70% Refund
· Cancellation in the reserved date : 50% Refund

All the owners of the historic houses are old, so it is often not easy for them to manage all the Natural Monument and serving the guests.
So we absolutely need your cooperation, please understand this situation. Thank you.

· Please minimize the trash, and bring it back after recycling. 
 (We give you trash bags, so you can throw the trash away at the rest areas.)
(Garbage trucks do not come here to pick up the trash, since it can pollute the soil and drinking water source. Especially, burning plastic and vinyl can cause lung diseases.)
·  Please leave the used bedding on the floor for changing, and do not put it on the closet or the rack.
(We wash the bedding after using every time.)
 · You can have dinner in downtown, or bring your own food. (We lend you kitchen utensils.)
Breakfast will be prepared by Jongbunim(the first daughter-in-law of the head family). Do not leave food waste.
· Please try not to waste hot water for others, let’s save energy with lamps and heating/cooling system.
· We lend you boots for the trails, please wash them before you return.
· Village Headman likes to talk with you and guide you through the village, feel free to ask anything.
· If you buy the book written by Village Headman, you can get 30% discount and get his signature. It would be a good gift for your friends.
